Flat Manly in South Korea, Part 3

Flat Manly is having so many adventures with my Aunt and Uncle Lee in South Korea!

Manly was able to travel to Seoul with my aunt and uncle and meet another aunt at an acquaintance's wedding.

Aren't they lovely?

My aunt and uncle recently moved from Daejeon to Sejong, and so they took Manly on a hike around their new city - what a beautiful place!

My family is so cool. :)

The next week, Aunt and Uncle took Manly for a walk at the Lake park in Sejong City.

The next weekend, Manly went for a bike ride and picked some mugwort with Aunt and Uncle. Looks like fun!

Manly also got to meet up with his sister Sally for Children's Day - check out the post here!

And lastly, they spent Mother's Day at the Usung Hot Springs Festival with more family, including Sally. They saw many people and events, interesting performances, and had delicious food.

Thank you SO much, Aunt and Uncle for so many amazing adventures!
I only wish I could mail myself there and join you all!

Flat Sally and Flat Manly Meet Up in South Korea!

May 5th is a special day in South Korea - it's Childrens's Day, a day for parents to spend a fun day with her children, and go on outings together.

This year, Flat Sally AND Flat Manly are visiting my relatives in South Korea, Sally with my cousin Hyunjin and her family, and Manly with my Aunt and Uncle Lee. So, everyone decided to meet up in Sejong City to celebrate Children's Day together!

They went to the Forest Museum and saw rabbits, deer, sheep, monkeys, bears, and a Korean traditional house: the Chusa and Mengje old house. Here are some fun photos of their adventures!

Happy Children's Day! We miss you all!

Flat Stanley has a SWEET time in South Carolina!

Flat Stanley had the pleasure of spending time with our friends the Prestons in Newberry, South Carolina! While he was there, he got to learn about bee keeping, dairy farming, and celebrate Easter with the family. (I'm refraining from any corny promised land jokes... Milk? Honey? Eh? Eh?)

Oh my. The outfit. The miniature smoker. ADORABLE!

Looking so handsome! Christ has risen indeed!

EEK! Adorable kiddos and milk mustaches!

I love each and every visit that the Stanleys have taken over the last year, and seeing each host make Stanley's visit their own is so fun and interesting. But I have to admit: the outfits that hosts make for Stanley kill me every time. Every. Time.

Thank you SO much Jilllian for showing our Flat Stanley such a SWEET time!

Flat Sally arrives in Seongnam, South Korea!

While Flat Manly is visiting my aunt and uncle in Daejeon, Flat Sally has had the opportunity to visit my cousin Hyun Jin in Seongnam, South Korea!

First, Hyun Jin's daughter Yuri took Sally to her elementary school and showed her around.

 Pretty classroom, Yuri!

Isn't she the cutest?

Next, Sally and Yuri visited Seolleung, the Royal tomb of King Seongjong and Queen Jeonghyeon.
It also Hyun Jin's first time to visit Royal tomb in Seoul.

Lastly, Yuri and her family took Sally with them to visit Everland in Yongin, a major theme park in South Korea - in 2011, it was ranked the 11th most visited theme park in the world!

Next, Sally traveled to Bongeunsa, the 1200 year old temple located in Gangam, the heart of a modern city. It Yuri's family's first time to visit Bongeunsa as well.

Sally also enjoyed a lovely picnic in the park with Yuri and a school friend:

Thank you SO much, cousins for an amazing and historical visit!
More adventures with Hyun Jin to come!
